Between November 13th and December 6th, the Embassy of Argentina presented a Photo-testimony exhibit of the Holocaust survivors who arrived to Argentina after the Second World War by Pablo Cuarterolo. The Photojournalist compiles portraits and memories of the Holocaust survivors in Argentina for an exhibition that leads us on a visual travel through some traces from the Second World War. Cuarterolo captured the ruins of the concentration camps as a metaphor that reflects the suffering of the post-war generations that arrived in Argentina seeking a new life. This collection of color photographs documents the past and the present of those survivors that chose Argentina as a place to call home.

Diana Wang
Born in Poland in 1945. Daughter of Shoah Jewish survivors, who arrived to Argentina in 1947. Psychologist specialized in Family Therapy, since 2004 she is the Chairwoman of Generaciones de la Shoá in Argentina.
Margit Meissner
Holocaust survivor born in Austria. She is a volunteer at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum where she translates from Czech into English at the Archives and acts as a tour guide in the Permanent Exhibit. Among other countries, she had been living in Argentina for a few years.
