On December 6th, 2017, the Embassy of Argentina, with the support of Centro de Edición, presented the opening reception of "Women Printmakers- Recent Works". The exhibition was on display until February 2nd, 2018 and was curated by Alfredo Ratinoff.
About the exhibition:
Aiming to make the graphic work of prestigious Argentine artists known, the founder and Director of the Centro de Edición in Buenos Aires convened a group of important women artists who use graphic arts to create part of their work. For many years, these groups have worked on collective projects, and their work has been exhibited in diverse settings, such as fairs, galleries, art spaces, among others: ArteBA since 2008, Arteaméricas Miami, Chaco Chile Fair, Art Miami, AAF, NYC, Argentine Consulate in New York, Argentine Embassy Berlin, AAF Milan, Art & Design Gallery Miami, Emerge Art Fair Washington, among others. The artsts featured in the exhibition were: Alejandra Coirini, Beatriz Gratta, Beatriz Ruiz, Carla Beretta, Carolina Azar, Cristina Hauk, Charito Estrada, Elena Dotta, Elsa Dommarco, Floki Gauvri, Florencia Barroso, Gabriela Cassano, Gabriela esterovich, Gabriela Gliksman, Gache Roldán, Laura Berestan, Laura Benchetrit, Lucía Torres, Malala Tiscornia, Malisa Sales, María Guerreiro, Maria Ana Tarrio, María Helena Arbuco, Margarita Pego, Marta Biagioli, Noemí Sapadaro, Sandra Astuena, Sara Slipchinsky, Silvana Blasbalg, Silvia Plumari, Silvia Sanjurjo, Sofía Llambias, Tere Magrane, Verónica Bonta, and Viviana Troya. Natalia Giacchetta was also a curator.
