On March 4, 2017 Teatro de la Luna presented a musical homage to the most prominent figure in the history of tango: the unforgettable Carlos Gardel. This special concert payed tribute to tango’s most legendary singer, songwriter and musician. Well-known Argentine singer Omar “El Alemán” Fernandez took time from his European performance schedule to perform at the Gardel event. Accompanying him was Ramón González and Peter Fields on guitar, bassist Jon Nazdin and dancers Shadi and René. The evening’s artistic direction was in the hands of Teatro de la Luna Director Mario Marcel, and the musical direction by Ramón González.
