On October 5th, 2022  the Embassy of Argentina and the Ibero-American Cultural Associaton (AACIA) hosted a special concert by the Trio Song al Sur, with guitarists Samy Mielgo and Marcelo Villanueva, and singer Daniel Muñoz. Song al Sur was formed as an emerging trio of the Mielgo-Villanueva guitar duo, with the idea of incorporating a vocal component to their performances.

With the Seminario Internacional Teológico Bautista Choir, they have toured the United States, and have performed at the Teatro Colón, Usina del Arte and CCK in Argentina.

Song al Sur's repertoire covers different genres of Argentine, and Latin American music. The trio performs and improvises on traditional music and also on their own compositions.
