From April 19th to April 29th 2018, the Argentine Embassy participated in the Washington, DC International Film Festival, presenting the film "La cordillera" directed by Santiago Mitre.

Synopsis: Hernán Blanco (Ricardo Darín), the Argentine president, faces the most important meeting of his career, a summit of Latin American presidents in Chile, where the region's geopolitical strategies and alliances are defined that involves forming the first interstate company to compete with the oil industry in the United States. Blanco will have to make decisions that could change the course of his life in both the public and private spheres. On the one hand, he needs to cover up a family scandal that could completely destroy his political image, and on the other, he is about to make the most important political decision of his entire professional career.
