From Buenos Aires (Argentina) pianist and composer Marco Sanguinetti with his modern jazz band (Agustín Uriburu: cello, DJ Migma: turntable, and Juan Chiavassa: drums) will present the new original music album "9" (available from September 2017 on cd and vinyl editions). Marco Sanguinetti has been considered by both local and international press as the creator of "a new jazz genre". He was selected as Best Musician, Best Pianist and Best Album of 2016 by an annual survey of Argentine jazz journalists. Sanguinetti opened for The Bad Plus’ concert in Argentina. His album "8" was nominated for the 2014 Latin Grammy Awards. Sanguinetti's last album was included in the Best of 2016, a list by journalist Geno Thackara (USA) for www.allaboutjazz.com.
