Synopsis
In 1806 the English invasion of Buenos Aires failed and the prisoners were taken to different parts of the country. Conor, an Irish soldier recruited by the English army, falls in love with Luisa, a young widow who refuses to leave her land and resists in solitude the onslaught of war. A love story full of complications in a country struggling to achieve its independence. According to the screenwriter, the main theme of the film is to show the role of women in such a war.
