The Embassy of Argentina presented a concert of traditional and contemporary tangos played by the Argentine pianist Andrés Rosconi, founder of the Tango Quintet Cinco Esquinas.

About the artist
He was born in Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began studying piano at the Municipal Conservatory. He holds a degree in Orchestral Conduction from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the National University of La Plata. He has been part of chamber ensembles and directed the choir of the Municipal Conservatory of Quilmes, and taught at the National University of La Plata. In 2006 he created the Tango Quintet Cinco Esquinas, touring all over Argentina and Europe. He was the conductor of several orchestras in Buenos Aires, as part of the program of the Bicentennial Orchestras and Children's Choirs. As a guest musician he plays contemporary music in the Sine Fulcro Ensemble of the National University of Quilmes. Rosconi teaches at the School of Popular Music in Avellaneda and the Conservatory of Music Julián Aguirre. Since 2016 he is the conductor of the Southern Youth Orchestra in Buenos Aires.
