Since its beginning, the Nadalet-Salsano Duo has carried out the mission of exploring and spreading Argentine Chamber Music pieces for voice and piano created by composers little frequented or even forgotten. In this performance, the selected program included in its first part with a group of songs by internationally renowned authors such as Alberto Ginastera and Carlos Guastavino, along with Carlos López Buchardo and Abraham Jurafsky. The second part was dedicated to the piano pieces by Carlos Guastavino. During the whole concert you could have discovered and enjoyed the characteristic rhythms and melodies of the different folkloric regions of Argentina.
About the artists
Lilia Salsano (piano)
Argentine pianist, awarded in national and international competitions, she frequently makes presentations in festivals and concerts in Argentina and abroad: United States, Spain, Italy, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Serbia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay; standing out his recital during the "Festival Martha Argerich- Buenos Aires". Her interest on music from her birthplace: Argentina and Latin America, has driven her to become the first Argentine pianist to record the Complete Solo Piano Music from Argentine composers Virtú Maragno (UNL/022) and Carlos Guastavino (upcoming release on March 2018). She performed as soloist with the: National Orchestra of Argentine Music "J. de D. Filiberto", National Youth Orchestra “J. de San Martín”, Orchestra of the Universidad del Norte (Paraguay) Academic Orchestra of the Teatro Colón and many Symphony Orchestras from Argentina. She is graduated from the Universidad Nacional del Litoral and she is part of the piano teacher's staff at the Music School of the Liceo Municipal in Santa Fe. Roberto Nadalet (tenor)
He began his singing studies under the supervision of Noemí Sousa and Zoraida Clement. His presentations as a soloist are with various provincial, national, international and private orchestras. He performed with the symphonic orchestras of Santa Fe, Rosario, Resistencia, Entre Rios, Mar del Plata, Santa Cecilia (Bs As), National Symphony Orchestra, CIVEBRA International (Brazil), Santa Fe Municipal Symphonic Band and Camerata Eleutheria. During the year 2004 he toured Spain and in 2008 for Peru, singing as a Soloist the “Criolla Mass”, Our Christmas and Mass for Peace and Justice, masterpieces by Ariel Ramirez, with praise from the specialized press in Spain and Peru. He has made presentations in various cities such as Santa Fe, Rosario, Paraná, Bariloche, Posadas, Resistencia, Mar del Plata, Federal Capital, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Brasilia, Sao Luis do Maranhao, Santiago de Compostela, Valencia Barcelona, Bilbao, Bayreuth (Germany), Salzburg, Asunción del Paraguay, Cuzco and Arequipa (Peru).
